My Week

This is the first of-its-kind post for me where I am going to highlight clips of the week.

EJ

EJ is the cutest little boy EVER! :) He is growing so much. Watching him learn how to identify us is so fascinating. Everytime he sees us he smiles. He is also trying to say words but he is not quite there yet. He just lets out some ambient sound. We’ll get there soon EJ… just take baby steps :)

This week EJ got his vaccinations and OH BOY was that rough! He cried continually for the next two days.  But after a couple of days he was back to himself. We graduated from 4oz to 5oz feedings.

I also started EJ on his NBA training regiment.

Here he is doing some push-ups now.
You can never start them to young I always say ;)
"Come on EJ — push!"

Work
Work was fast and furious. It has been this way for some time now. We are getting so busy. Its good to know that even while we are so busy, my boss is willing to let us take a break and play some XBOX.  Next week on June 2nd will be my 3rd Year anniversary with The Idea Center. Yay ME!
I look forward to the awesome things to come with this company. We have so much growth potential!

Decisions Decisions
Last week Pam and I had to make some life decisions. Pam was having a hard time reinserting herself back into the work environment. It was so difficult for her to break away from EJ after spending so much time with him. This is probably true for most working moms. It has always been a goal of hours that she would be able to stay home with our kids. But, we are definitely a two-income family. So here’s the compromise: Pam’s job gives her the option of working from home. It turns out that with the cost of daycare so high, we can be equally ok if Pam just stayed home and worked part time. We do however have to keep a bit of a tight leash on our budget.

Church
I think we are finally at a place where we have a solid foundation to move forward with and a great atmosphere to bring people into.  We plan on clarifying more about this amongst our selves this week.

Misc.
Pam and I started MySpace accounts… weird huh?

Goals for the coming week:
Get more sleep
Launch new Living Above blog
Start passing out cards for side business
Further plans in the developement of our house church plant (Let’s plan to meet, Dan)
Finish the new BOTN logos (coming Frank)

Things behind, Things to come

Pam and I got into a ‘discussion’ today that got me thinking. I was mentioning to her how much I missed Savannah and how special it was to live there. Its an enchanting city in a great location. Only 5 hours from Pam’s favorite vacation spot - Orlando, FL, 1 hour from Hilton Head, SC [...]
