A Spring Day in Winter

I dont know how I really feel about thee warm days in the middle of Winter It’s kind of bittersweet. On one hand, it is a gift and on the other hand its bitter, because i know it is going to be freakishly cold again in two days - and I would really prefer the warm weather to stay.

Last Saturday in Richmond was a gorgeous - over 60 degrees in February. My wife had to work so I took EJ outside. We went for a walk down to the elementary school playground so that EJ could play on the slides.  He had so much fun and I got to spend quality time with my son.

But, of course, the cold weather came back and we are back to playing inside and looking forward to continual spring weather. EJ is turning 2yr’s old near the end of March and he will be wanting to spend a lot of time outside with his birthday present from me - a red Radio Flyer wagon.

If you have warmer days in the middle winter, always take advantage, and look forward to the coming of spring.
