A Cry That No One Hears

Eric Murphy on November 22nd, 2006

It is seemingly a little known fact yet it has secretly and effortlessly become an epidemic. 1 in every 3 young black men are going to prison. After reading this statistic, I thought to myself “this just can’t be true”, yet I can’t ignore the facts. The streets of our urban rundown neighborhoods testify of that the story is true. Something needs to change.
This issue deserves national recognition. The Youth Life Foundation of Richmond, VA is featured in a documentary that could air on Current TV. This documentary is a chance for this issue to get some national attention. This documentary is a real eye opener and I want everyone to see it. But they need your votes. Follow this link and select “ONE NATION UNDER GUARD” watch it, and then VOTE. There is so much that needs to be done, this is certainly a step forward.
